A truly charming place with an intimate and cozy atmosphere. I sat at the sushi bar, watching the Japanese chef at work, and opted for the sushi paired with the 2022 white wine, followed by the cheese board paired with the 2021 red wine.

Both were absolutely delicious 😋
The service was incredible, and the whole experience felt like the perfect answer to my culinary dreams.

A traditional tavern in downtown Marbella. The shrimp, pork cracklings, cold cuts, etc., are delicious, and the atmosphere is spectacular. The prices are a bit high for the portion sizes.

We went with a group of friends and really enjoyed it. It’s located on a narrow street, with barrel-shaped tables and stools. They have a varied tapas menu; we tried the ham croquettes, which were absolutely delicious. We also had the cold shrimp, which I personally wasn’t too keen on, a delicious tuna belly and tomato salad—I recommend dipping the bread in it—and a few other tapas.

Another visit this summer to Taberna Casa Curro. A must-visit spot in Marbella’s old town. What’s more, this time around, they’ve added a seafood restaurant led by Fernando Villasclaras to their already renowned quality. You always have to make a reservation in advance. Since it’s a small place, it fills up every day. But it’s definitely worth the visit.
